CAM Data Joins Team to Make Web Software

Software seller CAM Data Systems Inc. in Fountain Valley has joined with a San Jose company to offer software that allows small- and medium-sized businesses to set up retail Internet sites without hiring Web developers.
The joint partnership with Concentric Network Corp., which sells Internet products, will sell I.star software that provides back-office software, CAM Data’s retail management software, Concentric’s application infrastructure platform and server hosting service.
The product costs about $20,000, or $500 a month. The Web hosting part, offered by Concentric, is charged monthly.
