Pondel Names Nasdaq/Amex Market Group Exec to V.P. Post

Julie Crandall has been named vice president of Pondel/Wilkinson Group, a Los Angeles-based corporate and investor relations firm. Crandall had been director of market services for Nasdaq/Amex Market Group in Washington, where she counseled public companies on investor relations and market dynamics.

* Founding partner Larry Frierson of Los Angeles-based law firm Liebert, Cassidy & Frierson is leaving the firm but will continue to practice law in Napa Valley. The L.A. firm, which specializes in labor and employment law, has changed its name to Liebert Cassidy.

* Kirk Rose has joined the Los Angeles office of architecture firm SMP/SHG, a SmithGroup Co. subsidiary. Rose will oversee the entertainment design practice. He previously was vice president and operations director at Studio E, a division of the design firm Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum in Santa Monica.

* Culver City-based Pittard Sullivan, an entertainment marketing communications firm, has promoted Marty Wall to senior vice president of marketing communications. He previously was vice president.
