“DOW 100,000: Fact or Fiction” by Charles W. Kadlec (New York Institute of Finance, $25). The chief investment strategist for Seligman mutual funds argues that bull markets don’t die simply because of age--something has to come along and kill them. So Kadlec prescribes fiscal and economic policy that he believes will keep this 17-year bull market going for at least two more decades, by which time he believes the Dow Jones industrial average could hit 100,000.
