Sex on TV
Mike Downey’s humorous Sept. 24 column about the overuse of sex and sexual innuendo in TV was right on. Most of the people responsible for our current batch of TV shows need to concern themselves more with possible brain implants than they do with women’s breast implants. Our only hope is that sex will wear itself out as the chief sitcom subject matter and will eventually return to its true function in life: private pleasure and, oh yes, human reproduction.
