Canoga Park 27, Van Nuys 0--Oscar Carpio ran for two four-yard touchdowns to lead the Hunters (2-3) in a nonleague game at Van Nuys (1-4).

Carpio had 69 yards in 14 carries and Michael Burnes had 104 yards in 15 carries to lead a balanced Hunters’ attack. Canoga Park had 255 yards.

Mike Spangle completed two of five passes for 50 yards and two touchdowns, one on a 16-yard pass play to Israel Perez in the second quarter and the other on a 34-yard pass play to Tony Olivera in the fourth.

Max Parra completed eight of 23 passes for 88 yards and ran for 107 yards in 11 carries.
