LAGUNA NIGUEL

Residents who want to spruce up their walls or make their old furniture look like a masterpiece are invited to the city-sponsored faux-finish class.

Instructor Sherrel Galeotti will teach students decorative painting for walls, furniture and accessories using ragging, sponging, stippling, blending, washing and veining techniques.

The two-day class costs $50 and will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Oct. 26 at Sea Country Senior and Community Center, 24602 Aliso Creek Road.
