Westcorp: The Irvine financial services holding company said net income for the third quarter reached a record $15.1 million, or 57 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $3.9 million, or 15 cents a share. Total assets grew 13% to $4.3 billion from $3.8 billion.
