An opportunity to mentor a high school student over croissants will be available at the second annual Pathseekers/Mentoring Breakfast Wednesday.

Sponsored by the Los Alamitos Area Chamber of Commerce Business/Education Committee, the event is a chance for business leaders in the community to share their knowledge and experiences with a young person. The goal of the program is to establish a rapport between the student and adult, and for the mentorship to lead to an internship or job shadowing offer.

It will begin at 8 a.m. at the Grand Hotel, 4101 E. Willow St. in Long Beach.
