Pixelon.com Appoints New CFO

Brian MacDonald has joined Pixelon.com in San Juan Capistrano as chief financial officer. MacDonald had been vice president of finance for Autobytel.com. Before that, he was with Long Beach Mortgage Insurance in Orange and controller for Long Beach Bank.

* Kay Koplovitz has joined the board of directors of firstsource.com in Santa Ana. Koplovitz is chief executive of Koplovitz and Co. Media Investments, a firm specializing in new media investments.

* Dave Desper has been appointed senior vice president of CB Richard Ellis Inc. in Newport Beach. He had been a first vice president. Desper specializes in the leasing and sales of industrial and corporate headquarter facilities in Orange County.

* Danielle Cole is the new business development manager for Destination Irvine. She will be responsible for developing business leads at national trade shows and will serve as liaison to regional marketing organizations. Cole was formerly a sales and marketing representative for Castleworks in Newport Beach, selling computers and imaging software programs.

* Matt Medeiros has joined the board of directors of Who?Vision in Lake Forest. He is chairman and chief executive of Philips Flat Display Systems.
