City-sponsored beginners’ ice-skating classes for children start Tuesday.

The six-week course costs $80 and is open to children ages 4 to 15.

Skate rental and free practice time from 2 to 4:45 p.m. on the day of the lesson are included.

Students must register at the Crown Valley Community Park Office, 29751 Crown Valley Parkway.

The classes will be held at the Ice Palace, 9 Journey Road, Aliso Viejo.
