The Gary Bonner Singers, a choral ensemble led by a prolific recording artist, will perform for Leisure World residents and their guests Sept. 12.
Dr. Gary Bonner, who has more than 40 recordings to his credit, started the group in 1995.
From 1991 to 1994, Bonner conducted the 2,000 voices and orchestra that make up Disneyland’s candlelight procession.
The performers--who were featured in the 1996 Salvation Army “Army of Star” Christmas Eve radio program hosted by actor Jack Lemmon--will sing a wide variety of upbeat songs.
The program begins at 6 p.m. in Leisure World’s Clubhouse 3. Tickets are $8 each.
