The 28-mile rail system proposed for Orange County and evaluated by a report released Thursday would not include Stanton, Councilman Al Ethans said. “We certainly want something in our area, but we’re a long ways off from that happening,” he said. The City Council will consider whether to approve a $5,250 fee for a Rail Feasibility and Alignment Study on Sept. 14. The new study would assess future phases of the proposed metro.
