Valley Life : bargains : New Disney Outlet Offers a Magic Kingdom of Deals

At the new Disney Outlet Store in Oxnard, you can get twice as much for your money; discontinued items from Disneyland and Disney stores are 25% to 70% off the original price.

Tiny Kingdom figurines that usually sell for $6 are $2.99; Lady and the Tramp interactive toys originally priced at $55 are $24.99; and Pooh and Tigger dolls that giggle and talk are down from $35 to $19.99.

A spectacular illuminated 22-inch anthill from “A Bug’s Life” once sold for $70, but you can pick one up here for $19.99.

Besides toys, there are also some good deals on apparel. For very little ones, there are T-shirts with Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy (sorry, no Donald) for $3.99 (regularly $12) that come in sizes 6 months to 24 months.

A Tomorrowland sweatshirt with the Fab 5 (the above group plus Donald) usually sells for $30, but buying here will save you $20. Even jewelry is available. Pooh rings, earrings and necklaces that were $5 each are now half-price or three for $4.99.

All the products are first-rate quality. Although they are discontinued, someday they could be collector’s items. This store just opened last month, so don’t feel out of the loop if you didn’t know about it.
