VENTURA COUNTY ROUNDUP : Countywide : Interface Hires New Development Chief
Interface Children Family Services of Ventura County has named a new director of community development.
Lucinda Connelly will head Interface’s marketing and fund-raising efforts and work to build its base of volunteers and clients throughout the county.
Connelly is a former case manager with Beverly Enterprises, the nation’s largest nursing home provider. She earned her master’s degree at Cal State Northridge and is working toward a doctoral degree in public administration.
She is a past president of Soroptimist International of Oxnard and a past board member of the Women’s Advocacy Council, an Interface group focused on preventing domestic violence.
Interface runs more than 30 programs to assist troubled children and families, who often are victims of violence.
