City-sponsored children’s tennis classes begin Sept. 27. The lessons, which will last for four weeks, are open to children between 8 and 14 years of age. Instructor Rebecca Brown will teach basic ground strokes, serves and the rules of the game. Participants must bring their own racquets and a can of hard-court balls. The cost is $32 for the four weeks. The class is from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays at MacKenzie Park. Information: (949) 707-2680.
