City officials are praising the work on the newly renovated Civic Center Apartments, an extensive project funded in part through the city Redevelopment Agency.
An open house is set for 5 p.m. Sept. 30 at the complex, located at the northwest corner of Birch Street and Randolph Avenue. Because of the agency’s participation in the project, 16 of the complex’s 30 units will be set aside for low-income households for 30 years.
