IRVINE
Irvine’s 24th annual Harvest Festival makes its debut Friday at a new location, off the Santa Ana Freeway and Culver Drive.
Festival organizers predict that more than 40,000 visitors will enjoy the festival’s carnival rides, games, crafts, food booths and live performances this Friday through Sunday.
“The Harvest Festival is an opportunity for residents in Irvine to come together and make new friends,” said Ron Hightower, festival board president.
The annual event moved from its former site next to City Hall because a new athletic park is now under construction there. The Irvine Co. offered the 30 acres adjacent to Culver Drive for the festival this year.
