RealityBUY Names Two Vice Presidents
Jim Huston is the new vice president of sales for RealityBUY.com and president of the automotive division, and Norm Cadsawan has joined the Irvine firm as vice president of marketing. Huston previously was an account executive at both J. Walter Thompson and D’Arcy, Masius, Benton and Bowles. After that, Huston founded the Zoom Group, a marketing communications consultant firm. In February, RealityBUY.com acquired the assets of the Zoom Group’s interactive media division. Huston remains chief executive of Zoom Group’s automotive operations. Before joining RealityBUY.com, Cadsawan was an e-business software program manager for Intel Corp. and was an account executive with Onyx Software.
* Sarah Pickell has joined Johnson Gray Advertising Inc. in Newport Beach as director of business development. She was previously manager of strategic marketing for Disney’s California Adventure theme park and the Disneyland Resort. Pickell has also been international strategic marketing manager, market planning manager and senior business planner at Disneyland.
* Jon Hayashida has been appointed vice president, clinical affairs for Refractec Inc. Prior to joining Refractec, Hayashida was vice president, global clinical affairs and domestic professional relations for CooperVision Inc.
* Alan H. Brown, Sharon E. Pacheco, T. Anthony Premer, Philip A. Teeter and Chris van Mierlo have been named vice presidents at Pacific Life Insurance Co. in Newport Beach. Brown is vice president, information services; Pacheco is vice president, corporate audit; Premer is vice president, real estate capital markets; Teeter is vice president, technology; and Van Mierlo is vice president, national accounts.
* Michael J. Mathe has been named vice president of international sales for Toshiba America Business Solutions’ electronic imaging division. He was formerly a regional sales manager-international.
* J.R. Pearce has been appointed senior vice president for the Western division of Koll Development Co. in Newport Beach. Before joining Koll, Pearce was director of acquisitions for the National Electrical Benefit Fund Investments in Washington, D.C., where his primary job was investing in national real estate developments.
* Charles G. Sleichter III has been named to the new post of vice president of marketing communications and marketing strategies for NetGuru Inc. in Yorba Linda. He has more than 20 years of marketing communications experience. Eric L. Christensen has been appointed to the new post of vice president of corporate strategies, general counsel and secretary. He has more than 20 years of general corporate law practice with public technology companies.
* Rosalind Williams has joined the board of directors of the Balboa Performing Arts Theater Foundation in Newport Beach. The foundation raises community awareness and funds to renovate and operate the theater as a performing arts center. Williams is president and chief executive of the Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau and executive director of the Newport Beach Restaurant Assn.
