What a delight to see my favorite fruit featured in Carolynn Carreno’s story (“Hot for Haas,” SoCal Style, March 5). What a put-down for Dr. Rudolph Hass, who developed the variety, to find it referred to as the “Haas” twice and the “Hass” only once in the otherwise excellent article.
