MaiSoft to Be Sold in Deal Worth $7 Million

MaiSoft Inc., a Laguna Hills software developer, has agreed to be acquired by a New Jersey company for $6 million worth of stock and $1 million in cash.

IVoice.com Inc. said in a news release Tuesday that it expects to pay 2.4 million restricted shares, valued at $2.50 a share, plus the cash for MaiSoft. The deal is expected to close April 17.

MaiSoft founders Trung Le, the company’s president, and John Burden, its vice president, will join IVoice.
