Quantum Picks Up Paving Company

Quantum Group Inc., a Tustin company that grinds up used automobile and truck tires and transforms them into tiles for playgrounds and basketball courts, said it has acquired Modified Asphalt Technologies, a rubber asphalt paving company in Mesa, Ariz.

Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
