A group of Cerro Villa Middle School seventh-graders placed second in the Destination ImagiNation state competition, which promotes creative, team-based problem solving. The team had to move five eggs through an obstacle course without breaking them and then created two additional obstacles that were judged for their originality, creativity and difficulty. The students’ “Eggsploration” presentation took place at UC Davis.

The students are Daniel Gorczyca, Ryan Seeley, Ryan Porter, Maura Tang, Rebeca Ortiz, Michael Bynon and Kyle Risser.
