GARDEN GROVE

City officials are looking for the most unique backyards in Garden Grove for the third annual Garden Tour and High Tea on June 10 at the Courtyard Center, 12732 Main St. Volunteer judges will begin reviewing backyards April 24 and will select the six most creative and challenging yards, tended to by the homeowners themselves, for the tour.

Past entries have included a yard full of gnomes, one yard with 150 varieties of roses, and one with a split desert-tropical forest motif. The June event includes gardening displays and demonstrations and drawings. Tickets are $12, $8 for the tour only. Information: (714) 741-5280.
