Children’s Museum
Re “Children’s Museum Urged to Move to Valley Subway Site,” March 17.
Hansen Dam would be a wonderful place for the Children’s Museum. It is a beautiful area--there are hiking trails, parks and a pool where many of our families have chosen to spend weekend outings. It would be a much nicer place for a museum than another proposed area in North Hollywood, where the nearby attractions include used car lots.

Hansen Dam has plenty of space, plenty of parking and many recreational facilities that would make the Children’s Museum a perfect fit. Additionally, there are many young people and families in the northeast San Fernando Valley who need a resource like the museum.
San Fernando Gardens Resident Management Corporation supports the proposed site of Hansen Dam for the Los Angeles Children’s Museum.
