No Need to Rush to Faster Computer

I agree wholeheartedly with Larry Magid’s column [“The Fastest Engine on the Block, 1-Gigahertz Chip, Is Just Overkill,” April 3].

I currently have a mid-grade computer, and with what I do, it works fine. I just think everyone is getting so wrapped up in the hype, they think the fastest computer is the best computer. Not necessarily so. I am sure one day in the future I may get a gigahertz processor. But I’m not in a rush. Smart article.
