Anderson Demonstrates His Skills

After sitting out two games and part of a third because of back spasms, shooting guard Derek Anderson reminded his team what a force he can be, with 31 points in an overtime loss to Denver on Saturday.

Interim Coach Jim Todd believes Anderson’s injury-filled season made him little gun shy.

Anderson, however, disagreed somewhat.

“When you’re playing in a situation where everyone doesn’t know their roles, it’s tough to get the same thing every night,” Anderson said. “If guys don’t know how to get open when I’m playing, it’s tough.”
