Tycom Corp. Acquires Precision Carbide Tool

Irvine-based Tycom Corp. said Monday it acquired Precision Carbide Tool Co. Inc., a privately owned company that manufactures rotary carbide tools in Niles, Ill. Financial terms were not disclosed. Tycom manufactures carbide cutting tools for the printed circuit board industry.
