E-MedSoft.com Wins 3-Year Medical Contract

E-MedSoft.com in Camarillo has been awarded a three-year contract to build and support a Worldwide Collaborative Medical Network for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The first phase of the project will enhance existing connections between specialists at the St. Jude hospital in Memphis, Tenn., and St. Jude facilities in Recife and Curitiba, Brazil.

The Collaborative Medical Network has been designed to allow the St. Jude International Outreach Program to export its clinical expertise worldwide, increasing the availability of its pediatric cancer protocols and procedures to all its affiliate facilities.

“This initiative will increase St. Jude’s ability to implement some of the distance learning projects with Brazil,” said Dr. Raul Ribeiro, director of the International Outreach Program at St. Jude. “Once this program is established, St. Jude International Outreach Program will extend to other partner countries as well.”

E-MedSoft.com has developed a subscription-based health-care management system available for delivery through the Internet. Users of the software are charged an upfront installation fee and an ongoing subscription fee based on transaction volume.
