From Times Wire Reports

Environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he would sue the Navy for allegedly polluting Vieques island in Puerto Rico, as he joined the campaign to shut down a Navy bombing range on the island. Kennedy, a senior counsel for the New York-based Natural Resources Defense Council, accused the Navy of breaking environmental laws in a way it never would on the mainland. “I don’t believe that the Navy could behave the way it has been behaving in Vieques in any of the other 50 states. There would be a revolution,” Kennedy told reporters. A Navy spokesman could not immediately be reached for comment.
