BUENA PARK
The Beautification-Environment Commission and the Public Works Department are sponsoring this year’s spring cleanup program April 29 at the Sears parking lot at the Buena Park Mall from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Residents can bring bulk trash to the site and dispose of it after presenting a current water bill or valid driver’s license with a Buena Park address.
Park Disposal Inc. will donate trash trucks and bins for this free program. Used motor oil will be accepted, but no solvents, organizers said.
Curbside service is available for seniors and disabled residents by calling (714) 522-3577 one week before the event to schedule pickup. Information: (714) 562-3651.
