Peter M. Small will portray the 33rd U.S. president, Harry S. Truman, on Saturday in Sherman Oaks. Small presents costumed impersonations of historical figures for schools, museums, libraries and other organizations.

Chamber Music

The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra performs its season finale Saturday night in Glendale. The orchestra will present concertos from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, including works by Mozart, Hindemith and Richard Strauss. Music director Jeffrey Kahane will conduct and perform on the piano. Cellist Doug Davis, flutist David Shostac and horn player Richard Todd are the other soloists.

‘Star Trek Goes Country’

Actor William Shatner, a.k.a. Capt. James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise, will make his annual personal appearance at the Cowboy Palace Saloon on Tuesday night for “ ‘Star Trek’ Goes Country.” The annual fund-raising event at the Chatsworth club is held in tandem with Shatner’s Hollywood Charity Horse Show, scheduled April 29 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank. The event will feature a complimentary barbecue and music by the Love Sick Prairie Dogs. Proceeds will benefit Ahead With Horses, L.A.’s Best and the Children’s Museum of Los Angeles.

‘Politically Incorrect’
