Robert Hooks, Marla Gibbs, Hal Williams and Hattie Winston are among many theater and film actors and others who will pay tribute to actor-director Edmund J. Cambridge in Giving Back Corp.’s third annual “Celebrity Spring Toast/Roast,” April 30 at Patriotic Hall in Los Angeles.

Cambridge, whose acting credits include “City of Angels,” “The Hughleys,” “The Practice” and many other films and TV shows, is a founding member of the renowned Negro Ensemble Company and the Cambridge Players.

Giving Back Corp., an organization that helps send young people to camp and college, is honoring Cambridge for his advocacy work for seniors and children.
