THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

DANA POINT

* Buccaneer Court: A car was vandalized with glue in the 32000 block at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY

* Newhope Street: An employee was upset with a poor work performance evaluation in the 17600 block at 8:30 a.m. Monday. Police said the suspect became angry, wrapped an electrical cord around the employer’s neck and threatened to come back and kill her. The employee then fled the building.

FULLERTON

* Serrano Place: Police responded to a report of shots heard in the 2200 block at 1:18 a.m. Thursday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Knott Avenue: A report of a bank robbery in the 11400 block at 12:52 p.m. on Friday.

* Harbor Boulevard: Police arrested three male juveniles for curfew violations in the 12600 block at 2:38 a.m. on Saturday. During the arrest one suspect threw a bundle of methamphetamine which was recovered by police.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Bolsa Chica Road: A boy threw French fries at employees of a business in the 16000 block at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Cliff Drive: A man reported several sprinkler heads missing from his yard in the 1000 block at 10:52 a.m. Tuesday.

LA HABRA

* Chestnut Street at Whittier Boulevard: A suspicious vehicle was reported at 7:51 p.m. Monday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Green Avenue: A reckless driver was reported in the 3700 block at 4:05 p.m. on Sunday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* North El Camino Real: A rental car was reported stolen in the 800 block at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday.

* Calle Puente: A man reported someone broke his bench in the 1100 block at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Paseo Cervesa: Someone stole a paint gun and a barrel from a warehouse in the 33000 block at 11:35 a.m. Monday.

* Oso Road: A car window was smashed and a stereo cassette player was stolen in the 26000 block at 12:45 p.m. Monday.

VILLA PARK

* Taft Avenue: A suspicious person was reported in the 18000 block at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Irvine, La Palma, Newport Beach, Orange, Placentia, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin, Westminster and Yorba Linda.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
