Philharmonic Society Offers Six Estate Tours

The Philharmonic Society, in cooperation with the American Society of Interior Designers/Orange County, will offer six tours of homes that have been professionally designed.

Proceeds from the Festival of Homes and Gardens will benefit the Philharmonic Society’s Youth Music Programs, which offer more than 1,500 free presentations to public and private schools.

Here are the tour dates:

Tuesday: Casa La Cuesta, the secluded central Orange County estate on two acres. The 7,000-square-foot main house served as the 1993 Philharmonic House of Design. $25 for lecture and tour.

May 4: Designer Fari’s Mediterranean-inspired Newport Coast estate with its manicured gardens and 18-foot-high arched windows. $100 for lecture, tour and refreshments.

May 12-13: Five South County homes, including the Aliso Rock house in Laguna Beach. $40.

May 18: Four homes in Lemon Heights and Cowan Heights in North Tustin and Orange Park Acres, including an 8,000-square-foot manor decorated in romantic Southern style and a 4,800-square-foot home that blends styles from Spain, Guadalajara and Monterey. $40.

Nov. 16: Laguna Beach homes, from beach retreats to homes with views of the coastline. $40.

Dec. 1-2: Newport Beach homes decorated for the holidays. $40.
