PASSION PLAY: A musical production of the Easter story, “The Passion Play,” will be presented at 2 p.m. today and 6 p.m. Sunday at the Shepherd of the Hills Church, 19700 Rinaldi St., Porter Ranch. Admission is $10 to $15. Information and reservations: (818) 831-7880.

EASTER SUNDAY: Pastor Bruce Dimmock will preside over an Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. at Congregational Church of the Chimes, 9659 Balboa Blvd., Northridge. The service will be followed by a continental breakfast and another regular Sunday service by the Rev. Roger Barkley at 10 a.m., in which children can participate in an Easter egg hunt. Free. EASTER PAGEANT: The pageant of the trial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ will be presented at Easter sunrise services beginning at 5 a.m. Sunday at Vasquez Rocks Park in Agua Dulce. The Agua Dulce Christian Church, the Agua Dulce Four Square Church, the Family Community Church of Agua Dulce and the Acton Faith Bible Church will present the musical pageant. FOREST LAWN SUNRISE SERVICES: The 24th annual Intercommunity Easter Sunrise Services featuring the San Fernando Valley Master Chorale, a principal address by the Rev. Vahe Simonian and a call to worship by the Rev. Ron Degges will begin at 6 a.m. Sunday with white doves being released into the sky on the forecourt of the Birth of Liberty Mosaic at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Burbank. Forest Lawn in Glendale will hold a Spanish-language Easter sunrise worship at 6 a.m. that will include a presentation narrated in Spanish of Jan Styka’s “The Crucifixion” and a service officiated at by the Rev. Dr. Miguel A. Darino, director of Hispanic Ministries at the Hispanic Baptist Churches of the Southwest. This service will be held at Glendale Forest Lawn’s Hall of Crucifixion-Resurrection, 1712 S. EASTER CELEBRATION: Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, 5700 Rudnick Ave., Woodland Hills, will hold Easter services at 6, 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday in which children are invited to place flowers on the cross at all of the services.
