The Sex Pistols wrote “God Save the Queen” to mock/mark Queen Elizabeth II’s silver jubilee in her 25th year on the throne. Now Motorhead has recorded the song in honor of its 25th anniversary. It will be featured on “We Are Motorhead,” the band’s new album, due May 16. A U.S. tour is planned for May and June.
