Microsemi Corp.:

The Santa Ana semiconductor maker posted earnings of $194,000, or 2 cents a share, for its second fiscal quarter, a big drop from net income of nearly $2 million, or 18 cents a share, for the same three months last year. Revenue for the quarter ended April 4 grew to $61 million from $39.5 million. For the first six months, Microsemi earned $1.2 million, or 10 cents a share, a drop from $4.3 million, or 37 cents a share, from the same period last year. Revenue rose to $115.6 million from $78.9 million.
