Lycos Inc. will buy a 10% stake in Autoweb.com Inc. as part of a four-year strategic alliance the companies formed to build and jointly operate a new online automotive channel. As part of the agreement, Lycos will also receive yearly multimillion-dollar payments. The exact amount was not disclosed.
