Ocean Pacific Signs Top Surfer Tim Curran

Ocean Pacific Apparel Corp. in Irvine said Tuesday that it has signed professional surfer Tim Curran to endorse the company’s surf, apparel and accessory products.

The company said in a press release that the long-term commitment with Curran, 22, of Oxnard is valued “in the seven figures.”

Curran was rated sixth in last year’s season-ending professional rankings, the highest of any North American. He currently is eighth on the 2000 World Championship Tour.
