Design Is Only Tin Deep

Re “Gehry’s N.Y. Design: Huge in Scale, Ambition” (by Nicolai Ouroussoff, April 18): Frank O. Gehry’s startling design for the new Guggenheim Museum in New York should delight his admirers, but to me it looks like a crumpled and discarded piece of aluminum foil or the remains of the Tin Man after he tripped over a pothole on the Yellow Brick Road.
