Aeromexico now flies twice a week from LAX to Guaymas, Mexico, a town on the Gulf of California known for its deep-sea fishing, before continuing to La Paz. Reservations: (800) 237-6639. . . . Starting Monday, a $1-per-person admission fee will be charged at Diamond Head State Monument on Oahu in Hawaii.
