A July 22 letter expresses impatience with critics of SUVs, saying “Come on, people, get over it.”

Drivers of compacts and mid-size cars can’t get over SUVs, or around them, or under them, as they lumber (often slowly and several abreast) in auto lanes they’ve virtually homesteaded. Nor can we see through the dreary behemoths.
