Ryland Group Reports Dip in Quarterly Earnings

The Ryland Group Inc. in Calabasas reported earnings of $16.9 million for the second quarter ended June 30, down from $17.6 million for the same quarter last year. Revenue rose to $525 million, compared with $502 million.
