Presidents Named at Charles Dunn in L.A., Maasdam Pow’R-Pull in Burbank

* Michael Packard has been appointed president of Charles Dunn Co., a Los Angeles-based full-service brokerage and money management firm. Packard formerly was president and chief executive of Chaney, Brooks & Co., a property management and brokerage in Hawaii.

* Maasdam Pow’R-Pull Inc., a Burbank-based maker of cable pullers and fence tools, has appointed Robert G. Adams president and chief executive. He formerly was vice president and chief operating officer of work wear products maker McGuire-Nichols Co.

* Los Angeles-based apparel maker Lucky Brand Dungarees has tapped Simon Dallimore as president of its retail division. It also named Jason Johnson as vice president of marketing. Both are new positions. Dallimore was recently vice president of U.S. retail at Swatch, and Johnson had been vice president of marketing at Mossimo Inc.

* Patrick Kennedy has been promoted to senior vice president of Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment in Culver City, with responsibility for day-to-day operations of a newly created business to deliver online and interactive entertainment via broadband.

* Thomas Properties Group, a Los Angeles-based real estate investment and asset management firm, has named Robert D. Morgan vice president, accounting and administration. He previously had been a senior manager in the real estate group at Arthur Andersen.

* Pasadena-based office products maker Avery Dennison Corp. has named Robert Malchione to the newly created position of senior vice president, corporate strategy. He will be responsible for leading corporate strategy development and for evaluating and developing new growth opportunities. He had been a vice president at international consulting firm Boston Consulting Group.

* Codexa Corp., a Pasadena-based Internet company specializing in information for traders and other financial professionals, has named Lauren Weissman as general counsel.
