The City Council unanimously approved about $620,000 Tuesday for landscaping improvements to State College Boulevard and Central Avenue and Kraemer Boulevard from Birch Street to Lambert Road. Councilwoman Lynn Daucher was absent to attend the Republican National Convention. The council’s action is one of the first road improvement projects from a seven-year capital improvement program the city passed in June.
