Krause’s Furniture Inc.

The Brea manufacturer and retailer of furniture incurred a net loss of $3.9 million, or 18 cents a share, for the second quarter, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $1.6 million, or 7 cents a share. Sales were up 1% to $35.3 million. Krause’s said bookings, or written customer orders, fell 3.3% at stores open at least a year.
