* Update--Goodbye 2000, hello Lauren Jackson. That’s the Storm theme this week as it finishes its first season with the WNBA’s worst record, earning rights to 6-foot-6 Australian Jackson. She’s expected to be the league’s first draft pick next spring, although Seattle Coach Lin Dunn has said she would consider surrendering the pick to Utah in exchange for Natalie Williams, who Dunn had on her ABL Portland team. The Sparks are returning to the scene of their only bad performance of the summer, a 69-59 overtime loss June 13, which gave them a 4-2 record. They’ve lost once since and tonight can stretch their league-record road win streak to 12 and gain their second 12-game win streak overall since their last Seattle visit. The Sparks finish the regular season Wednesday at Salt Lake City.
