What’s happening the next few weeks:
* “The Golden Age of Chinese Archeology: Celebrated Discoveries From the People’s Republic of China,” a show of more than 200 ancient artifacts, is on view through Sept. 11 at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, near Kennedy Drive and 10th Avenue in Golden Gate Park. (800) 965-4827.
* The musical “Titanic” runs Tuesday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. through Aug. 20 at the Orpheum Theatre, 1192 Market St. (415) 551-2000.
* The 2000-01 season at American Conservatory Theatre begins Aug. 31 with the world premiere of Frank Loesser’s “Hans Christian Andersen,” directed and choreographed by Martha Clarke. Tickets will be available Sunday. Geary Theater, 405 Geary St. (415) 749-2228.
