Tourism Secretary Quits to Face Charges

Mexico’s tourism secretary has resigned to face charges of embezzlement in a nearly unprecedented corruption case against a Cabinet secretary. Oscar Espinosa Villarreal’s attorney, Alonso Aguilar Zinser, announced the resignation late Tuesday, hours after the Mexico City prosecutor’s office said it could not prosecute Espinosa until he stepped down from his federal post.
