THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Thursday:

BREA

* Brea Mall: Petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 10:37 a.m. Tuesday.

* East Imperial Highway at Brea Boulevard: An accident involving an injury was reported at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

* East Imperial Highway: An accident involving an injury was reported in the 2500 block at 4:01 p.m. Tuesday.

DANA POINT

* Brookview: Four potted plants were reported smashed on a patio at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

* Selva Road: A 47-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of vandalism in the 34000 block at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

FULLERTON

* North Acacia Avenue: Petty theft was reported in the 400 block at 9:34 p.m. Tuesday.

* South Vine Avenue: An auto theft was reported in the 1300 block at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Groveview Street at Stanford Avenue: Police arrested two Santa Ana men on suspicion of robbery at 2 a.m. Sunday. Four men, one with a handgun, approached four men and robbed them of their wallets, watches and jewelry. The robbers then separated into two groups and fled in different directions. A son of one of the victims drove up and two of the suspects attempted to rob him. His father then detained the suspects until police arrived.

LAGUNA BEACH

* South Coast Highway: A car was reported scratched in the 500 block at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday.

LAGUNA HILLS

* Acasco: A disturbance was reported in the 24300 block at 4:07 p.m. Sunday.

* Alicia Plaza: Someone was arrested on an undisclosed warrant in the 25200 block at 7:26 p.m. Saturday.

* Cabot Road: Petty theft was reported in the 25300 block at 1:18 p.m. Saturday.

* Devonport Circle: A loud party was reported in the 24600 block at 11:02 p.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA WOODS

* Vista Carrizo: Deputies investigated a body in the 3300 block at 11:51 a.m. Monday.

LA HABRA

* North Cypress Street: A car theft was reported in the 100 block at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday.

LOS ALAMITOS

* Howard Avenue: Petty theft was reported in the 4000 block at 4:02 p.m. Sunday.

PLACENTIA

* East Chapman Avenue: Three juveniles in a parking lot were smoking marijuana at 10:28 p.m. Tuesday.

* Camarillo Street: A loud party and music with underage drinkers was taking place at 10:32 p.m. Tuesday.

* North Rose Drive at Ralphs: Juveniles were loitering in the store near the liquor section at 7:41 p.m. Tuesday.

RANCHO SANTA

MARGARITA

* Alma Aldea: A loud noise was reported in the 22400 block at 10:41 p.m. Monday.

* Trabuco Canyon Road: Suspected gun shots were reported in the 30800 block at 6:54 p.m. Monday.

* Melinda Road: Loud music was reported in the 29700 block at 10:42 p.m. Monday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Avenida de la Estrella: Deputies responded to a reported assault in the 1500 block at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

* Avenida Magdalena: A golf bag and golf clubs were reported stolen in the 100 block at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Avenida San Antonio: Fish were reported stolen from an aquarium in the 200 block at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Buena Park, Costa Mesa, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Irvine, La Palma, Newport Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Tustin, Westminster and Yorba Linda.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
